India International Cooperative Trade Fair (IICTF)

[11th - 13th October 2019, Pragati Maidan New Delhi]

The Government of India has recently introduced the first ever Agriculture Export Policy to support the efforts aimed at doubling the farmers income. The National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC) has been focused on agri-exports in line with the recommendations of the Committee on Doubling the Farmers Income set up by the Government of India. It is estimated that 94% of the Indian farmers are members of at least one cooperative institution. NCDC has extended financial assistance to cooperative at all the tree tiers i.e., Primary, District and Multi state. During the current financial years alone, NCDC has sanctioned more than Rs. 34,000 crores to various cooperatives apart from those in agriculture and allied sectors, across the country while maintaining its net NPA at zero level.

After the introduction of the Agriculture Export Policy, NCDC is going to organize the First Ever “India International Cooperative Trade Fair (IICTF)” on 11 -13 October 2019 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, with the aim to bring local cooperatives and international buyers to meet.

International buyers can be from cooperative, cooperative, cooperate, private, and government. IICTF covers exhibitors / sellers/ buyers who has primary focus on the cooperative-to-cooperative trade on sectors such as agriculture and allied sectors complete value chains, commodities, exports, technology, climate smart agriculture, processing, packing, storage, machinery, brand promotion. Marketing, coop-banking, IT, cyber-security, livestock, diary, fisheries, handloom, handicrafts, textiles, consumer goods, retail, hospitality, insurance, finance, healthcare, products by women groups and capacity development.
