150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi Celebrations

Embassy of India, Phnom Penh celebrated 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and International Non-violence Day on 2nd October 2019 near Freedom Park in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

Amb Manika Jain accompanied with Embassy officials, Indian diaspora in Cambodia and Cambodian students offered floral tribute at the bust of Mahatma Gandhi situated in the heart of the city. Ambassador also highlighted the life and teachings of Mahatma Gandhi.

On the occasion, H.E Ms. Manika Jain Ambassador of India distributed prizes and certificates to the winners of quiz competition on Gandhi held in chancery premises on Aug 30th and Sept 21st as part of Gandhi@150 celebrations in Cambodia.
