Ambassador Manika Jain presided over the handing over ceremony of water hand pumps

H.E Ms. Manika Jain, ambassador of India to the Kingdom of Cambodia, presided over with H.E. Mr. Secretary of State of Ministry of Rural Development the handing over ceremony of 800 water hand pumps in Tboung Khmum. The project of 1500 hand pumps is financed by Ministry of External Affairs and executed by WAPCOS. The project will greatly contribute toward safe drinking water and rural community in Cambodia.

Ambassador Manika Jain hailed the historical and friendly ties between Cambodia and assured Government of India’s continue support to Cambodia as needed. On the occasion, Ambassador announced 4 more MoUs are to be singed to assist Ministry of Rural Development of Cambodia in various areas.
