Blood Donation Camp organized by Embassy of India

To commemorate 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, Embassy of India, Phnom Penh organized Blood Donation Camp - रक्तदान शिविर - at its premises on 26th October, 2019 as a humanitarian programme. This is one of the several events Embassy have been organizing as part of Government of India's ambitious Gandhi@150 programme to commemorate Mahatma Gandhi's 150th Birth Anniversary. Indian community living in Cambodia and officials of the Embassy enthusiastically participated in the event.

Cambodians, ITEC and ICCR alumni also donated blood with equal enthusiasm. Indian Association Cambodia have been instrumental in organizing the event and encouraging the Indian community to appear in large number to donate blood. National Blood Transfusion Centre, Phnom Penh readily accepted our request to deploy their medical and technical team along with all necessary equipment at Embassy premises
