Continuing the School Outreach Programme

Continuing the School Outreach Programme to commemorate 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, Embassy organized three events on 5th and 6th July in Tuol Tompoung, Chea Sim Samaki and Hun Sen Phsar Doemthkov High Schools in Phnom Penh.

Approximately 800 students attended the events. Booklets on Gandhiji were distributed and copies of his biography was given for school libraries.

School children enthusiastically participated in question-answer session and showed keen interest on life and teachings of Gandhiji.
