Incredible India Road Show

With the objective of promoting and showcasing India as a preferred destination for tourists from Cambodia, the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India organised an “Incredible India Road Show” on 9^th May 2018 at Hotel Nagaworld, Phnom Penh in association with the Embassy of India.

H.E. Ms. Rashmi Verma, Secretary, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India led the Indian delegation along with H.E. Ms. Manika Jain, Ambassador of India to Cambodia and Ms. Meenakshi Sharma, Additional Director General, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India.

H.E. Dr. Thong Khon, Hon’ble Minister of Tourism, Kingdom of Cambodia attended the event as Chief Guest along with H.E. So Mara, Secretary of State and other senior government officials. Ms. Chhay Sivlin, President of Cambodian Association of Travel Agents led the delegation of local tour operators.

The Indian delegation comprising 16 prominent tour operators from India and representatives from the Indian Railways Catering & Tourism Corporation participated at the event and interacted with around 80 local tour operators of Cambodia and representatives of airlines in a B2B meeting. On the occasion, the Indian delegation made excellent presentations on various tourist destinations of India including Buddhist heritage sites.
