Sanskrit Day Celebrations

On the eve of 73rd independence Day Embassy of India in Phnom Penh organized a cultural evening on the occasion of Sanskrit Day at Chaktomuk Theatre

'Paramparya', a performance to celebrate India-Cambodia friendship was presented, which included a dance by Cambodian Living Arts on Churning of Ocean of Milk and Bharatanatyam Dance by Mrs Mohana Natarajan.

The event was attended by HE Dr Phoeurng Sackona, Minister of Culture, as a chief guest along with HE. Ms. Manika Jain, Ambassador of India. Senior Govetnment officials, members of Diplomatc Corps, University academics, representatives of Cultural organizations, media and Cambodian youth. About 500 strong audience witnessed the cultural event with enthusiasm.
